A new dental practice based out of the PNW, Black Lake Dental was looking for a modern approach to dental branding.
Using the surrounding forests and mountains for inspiration, I built a visual system that would feel approachable, yet credible enough for the medical industry
Coffee makes the world go around it seems, so when I was tasked to come up with packaging for a new line of cold coffee beverages from Atomic Coffee, I gladly began brewing up a concept (awful pun).
Taking notes from atomic age science and design, I wanted to capture the molecular chaos that is caffeine with a heavy helping of order to rein it all in.
The result, was a series of labels that communicate clearly what's inside, while still retaining a fun energy that doesn't take itself too seriously. No lab coats or safety goggles required.
Global Aquaculture Alliance
The future of sustainable seafood is dependent on organizations that look after our oceans and the people that make a living fishing from these waters. One such organization, is Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA).
The old branding was no longer portraying the values and advancements they had established, so it was time for a revamp.
Sticking with the global theme, GAA needed a visual system that could bridge the gap between credible, data-driven science and the seafood consumer. Using this as my compass, I developed a brand that could look and feel approachable, but still retain the credibility needed for a stewardship icon of modern aquaculture.
MyGAA - Explainer Animation
Part of what GAA does to promote best aquaculture practices, is to create a space where leading industry experts can gather online to discuss the nuances of their field.
I was tasked by GAA to come up with a fun, friendly introduction into their new peer-to-peer forum, called MyGAA.
Best Aquaculture Practices - SCT Overview
I don't shy away from a delicious beef burger, but I know as well as anyone else, that eating burgers everyday not only pummels your pancreas like a Mike Tyson left hook, but the raising of beef can be really hard on the environment. Well, meet Grateful Burger. A blended patty that's making burgers more sustainable by combining angus beef with veggies.
To enter the retail market, they needed a box to house these delicious devils that would attract people not accustom to the idea of veggie burgers. To achieve that, I created a package that was primarily about the beef, with the veggies taking a more secondary role.
The result, is a bright, punchy, stand out product that can hold it's own against the big boys. Please, pass the ketchup.
